    Hey davidelvig!

Sorry for the late reply. This is an interesting idea. Can you say a little more about the use case that you're interested in? Are you exporting into a DAW? If so how are you using the meta events?

    Thanks James.

I have a special use case of creating MIDI files for use as a backup band inside of MIDI Wind Controller (the Tilt and Tipsy from DigiBrass).

The instrument can read a midi file (from an internal SD card), play back up sounds like piano, drums, and bass on different MIDI channels, and also display the current chord and the coming chord changes as they approach. The player then plays along on their chosen synthesized instrument.

I've been looking for a different workflows to make this happen using various tools. I've appreciated the visual data entry and preview (pre-play) that no flight offers and I'd like to see if it can be part of that workflow.

The workflow is for us here at the office first, but with time, I'd like to enable this for customers that acquire the right tool set.

Take a look at our websites below and let me know if there's something we might work together on?

    DigiBrass.com (our sales site)
    MIDIWind.com (our learning site)
