Copy and Paste rest correctly please

One of my biggest frustrations is when I copy past parts to a new staff, noteflight won't copy and paste rest patters correctly the way I choose to format them.  It takes so long to go back and fix measure by measure for me.  Example, when you have a quarter note followed by three quarter note rests, noteflight chooses to change it to a quarter note followed by a dotted half note.  Technically correct, but no one uses this notation choice in the "real" world.  I want to notate in a particular way and noteflight keeps changing it on its own.  Any way to fix this?

  Yes that is annoying and time-consuming, but it's not an insurmountable problem.
