Changing Dynamics within Repeats

    I have a related issue here. I'm transcribing an old hymn tune and trying to get a ritardando on the last measure of the final repeat of the chorus. Not sure how. I'm a dabbler as well so perhaps there's just music notation out there I haven't learned about yet.

    One possibility for me would be to make the last measure a separate second ending, but that seems less than clumsy, too, since the only change would be the ritardando. Hmmm.... As you say, there has to be a more elegant way to write this.

    In my hymnal, no ritardandos are marked, so perhaps it isn't essential... but it would be a nice option.

    Need this to be implemented too for a piece of mine so there can be a continuing crescendo within the repeated version instead of a repeat of the first version's crescendo.

    Intended: p -> mp -> mf

    Currently experiencing: p -> mp -> p -> mp

    Also would like to be able to delete all dynamic markings at once.  I change my mind a lot and on choral scores it's sso time-consuming to delete each individual line that has markings.
