Toggle On/Off Spacebar Play Function

At times I unintentionally press the spacebar in Noteflight, which results in my part being played. This typically occurs when fast switching from a different program that requires me to use the spacebar to play a passage. I would like to be able to toggle on/off the spacebar function in Noteflight.
