Movable Bar Numbers

I would love to be able to change/adjust the location of bar numbers. I find that having the bar numbers above the measures instead of beneath is confusing at times.

It would also help to be able to move them closer to the staff itself. Even with adjusting the staff spacing, the numbers currently appear closer to the line above, rather than the measure they apply to.
