adding multiple chord symbols over a held note

Is there any way you can make a better system for adding multiple chord changes over a single held note? For example, a whole note is in the melody on a lead sheet, and there are 4 different chord changes coming in under it as the melody whole note is held throughout the measure. And other cases such as this.

I saw a post on this community post about how you can add a separate voice (extra upper voice), putting in quarter notes, then turning those notes to invisible, and putting the chord symbols above them. But this is hardly a good work-around. There should be something much simpler, like chord placeholder carats ^ that you could input and then attach the changing chords to that. The placeholder carats would not appear in the print, but would hold the place for the chords to go. They could be input on a beat chart, like every beat, or whatever, a separate line in the score directly above the staff for the placeholders, where you can click each measure on that line and select tick-boxes where you want the chord placeholder carats to go or not. Check that beat position and the placeholder carat will appear there; leave the box in that beat position unchecked, and there will be no chord placeholder there. And then you can click on the boxes to add the chord symbols on the beat chart for each measure, instead of clicking on the note itself to add chord symbols.

In your current work-around, that might affect playback in a negative way if you have an upper voice with notes that you make invisible, unless you can make them rests and attach the chord symbols to the rests. On the whole, your chord symbol system of attaching chords to notes is flawed, because the chords often change when the notes do not, and vice versa. The chords (and accompanying diagrams) should have their own beat map or positioning independent of the notes. I'm hoping your development team can look into improving this in the future.

(You should also be able to do chord changes over rests, as many times in a lead sheet, the main vocal line will be resting, while the musicians will be changing chords underneath those rests, even multiple times per measure while the vocal line just shows a whole rest. This is the same problem, but just with rests instead of notes. The chord beat map idea solves this as well.)
