Create an option for no measures

A lot of chant music like gregorian chant, obikhod chant and square-note notation work best without measures or adding custom measures not defined by a time signature. I don't know if it's possible but it would be very helpful feature to have.

  You can make the measure division lines invisible. Wouldn't that solve your whole problem?  If you need different time signatures in the measures in order to avoid use of ties, that's easy to hide too.

  That's a fine idea, however, even when the bar line is invisible, the notes remain grouped as if the bar line were present. 
  
  The only other idea I had was to use an invisible time signature like 100/2 but that wont do either as the notes clump together and I'm afraid editing note distance would be far to cumbersome and inaccurate. 
  
  All suggestions and support are greatly appreciated.  
  I sure hope something can be done about this.

  I would like this option, too for writing chant music. Is it possible to eliminate the time signature completely?

  I would like to see this option. It would be especially helpful for those of us who arrange liturgical music where Chant. I think most music directors who arrange arrange liturgical music use this feature in Finale. I wish it were here. Handwriting it can be messy.
