Altering Tabulature pitch

It would be extremely helpful if when adjusting the pitch on a guitar or bass tablature if it could also adjust the strings when needed.  For example, if lowering a note that was on an open string, it would be amazing for it to move to the next lowest string and put it at the right fret to match the new pitch.

Further, if lowering beyond the constraints of the tuning of the instrument, it would be helpful to notify that it was lowering beyond the instrument's tuning and offering an ability to retune the lowest string to make it work.
