I'd love for there to be a way for a recording to be turned directly into a piece of sheet music on Noteflight!
You'd be able to insert a recording into a Noteflight score, following which it would transform magically into notes in the score! Whala! It would also be neat if you could play notes in real time and have them be put into sheet music in much the same way.

I agree that it would be nice, and I'm no professional, but I'm guessing that it would take very advanced technology to make that so easily available for anyone. Plus, even if they did provide it, it would probably pick up background noise and turn it into music. Like, if you were breathing too loud they would think it was supposed to be a drum cymbal.

I third it! This would save so much time and aggravation. And even if the software isn't perfect at getting the note and rhythm, having it at all would still be more helpful than manually transcribing everything. I'd rather fix what the computer got wrong than transcribe if I don't have to.

I fifthed it!
I have thought that this idea would really be helpful, but I don’t think that it is possible without having other things on one’s computer (i.e., perhaps a particular browser, or maybe needing Google chrome, et cetera). I do not know for sure about all of this, but I do know that I have not been able to record a song and have Noteflight turn it into notes. I wish I could, though. How nice that would be!
