For my kids that are not too music literate, especially those who are in general music, it would be very helpful if they could see the note names on the online keyboard.  Many haven't even seen the inside of a piano let alone know how to play one.

  I agree. I am switching from playing a piano, years earlier to playing the cello. Although I am versed in the treble cleft, It would be helpful to see the letter/notes to reference.
