Note names IN the note heads
CompletedHi!
As a music teacher in a primary-school I love to create musical arrangements for my pupils. Many of these children do not need (nor want) to read notes. So for this type of pupil I usually type the note-names (letters) below the score, just like lyrics.
Sometimes I use LOGIC-PRO (for Mac OS X) to create a score where the note-names are IN the noteheads. This works excellent for my pupils in school and it looks way cooler than letters below the notes (as lyrics).
Another benefit is that the pupils keep looking at the appearance of the music-note, so it still learns that there is also a certain rhythm represented. (With letters below the notes they only focus on those letters).
I know there is this nice color-notes feature for schools. But I still would appreciate and use the notenames-in-noteheads feature.
Thanks!
Marius
