I think there also should be metallophones. And maybe even a synthesizer.

Totally agree. I'm not just missing the shaker, but a lot of percussion instruments that are frequently used in schools and are crucial for latin music:

    Shaker/Maracas/Chocalho

    Claves

    Djembé

    Cajon

    Tambourine

Still missing the most basic instruments. There is still not one shaker instrument in the library and one of the most important instrument in latin music, the claves, doesn't exist either. Very disappointing.

This is very true, however I usually have made up for that. I compose multiple bits of sheet Music for my youtube and usually orchestral or concert band, well the shaker is commonly needed. But if needed. I always use the Sleigh Bells instead. But make sure you eye those dynamics, Sleigh Bells are louder than average Maracas or Egg Shakers. So for example if you planned Some Egg Shakers to have a Mid Pop, Mid Latin Slow Beat...at Forte, instead try putting it 2 dynamics lower, At Mezzo Piano. :)

I really need orchestral Chimes added. No other instrument gets close at all. The closest thing I have found has been glockenspiel converted down 2 octaves, but it still doesn't compare. Triangle needs to be added as well.

Also sleigh bells work fairly well for tambourine, hope that's helpful.

We need the recorder, harmonicas, all the ones mentioned before this comment, all forms or orchestral and band instruments ie Er Hu and the Pa Pi. Sitar, Bagpipes ect. I'd like to see those drums as well. Oh and when I say recorder, I don't mean the dumb little Sopranino one, i me the bass recorder, alto recorder and all the types of recorders including the Sopranino. more Organ like the puff Organ. I'd love that. A Clavi. That'd be interesting. Don't forget the Ocarina. Fiddle goes with the orchestra. If you could do and update this year, these would be the ones I'd add.

I think more non-western instruments are needed.  I'd like an oud (I'd even settle for a European lute), a Middle Eastern Tabla (also known as doumbek, darbuka, darbeke), an African Djimbe would be great, a basic frame drum would be nice, Indian Tabla, a Kanun (or at least a zither), a Chinese Guzheng and Guqin, a Sitar, a Ney flute, and a pan flute.  Definitely, more world instruments and specifically different rhythm instruments are needed.  It is very difficult to compose things in noteflight that approximate those non-Western instruments with the ones currently available.  If I just want to read the sheet music myself I can obviously just enter those things in on the staff as whatever instrument I'd like and mark out rhythm notations as appropriate for the things I want to use but if I want to hear an approximation in noteflight I actually have to combine 2-3 different drum sounds to get something that approximates a Middle Eastern Tabla.  I have to mix like 5 instruments to approximate an Indian Tabla.  I have to use a banjo and do a lot of bending and sliding and often mix more than one banjo or a banjo and guitar or a banjo and some other instrument to approximate sounds from many of the other types of instruments and it can be such a mess to be able to get the noteflight program to approximate those sounds.  For me the point of using noteflight IS to hear those approximations played back, I don't mind writing things out by hand but I want to hear a playback and this would be so much easier with a program that at least had some of theseinstruments to work with.

I agree with everything above but here are some some instruments I would like to see:

    Sitar
    Tabla
    Oud
    Tampura
    Guzheng
    etc.
