Improve drum notation

Noteflight needs to add a rimshot option for drum set and marching percussion and a rim knock and/or rim click for drum set. Also add support for double stroke rolls and buzz rolls, flams, diddles, drags and cheeses for marching perussion. There should be an option to mix and match percussion staves to a single stave ex. add cowbell to basic percussion. In addition, all drum set parts should be separate voices or at least have that option. It would also be great to have a variety of cymbal and drum sounds and types and to be able to balance individual voices.

  Yes I totally agree! For example, I'm writing for a rock band (drumset) right now and would like to have a rim click option on 2 and 4 for a nice rock ballad. I write an X on the snare line for a rim click, but there's no rim click audio. It seems to me it would be a great (and fairly simple) addition!

  Yeah +1 on this it's a huge limitation for the drum stave, as well as the additional percussive nuances outlined here = http://web.mit.edu/merolish/Public/drums.pdf

  I love composing stand tune arrangements for marching bands but I always have to have my brother write out the drum line part by hand because A) Noteflight is super limited in that particular area, and B) I'm not a percussionist... but mostly A.

  I discovered a workaround for the cross-stick on Noteflight.  You call it a rim click.  Anyway, it involves using the bongos (normal or slap) on beats 2 and 4.  Here is the demo: https://www.noteflight.com/scores/view/79897ac46995c581b6018e047377cf804419bbfc
