Tablature notation and custom tunings

The ability to create custom tunings on a TAB score is very handy.  However, it is also quite laborious.  

I run a Filipino folk music group called a Rondalla.  It contains Bandurria, Laud, Octavina, as well as guitar and stand-up jazz style bass.

The Bandurria is tuned F#3-B3-E4-A4-D5-G5.

The Laud and Octavina are tuned F#2-B2-E3-A3-D4-G4

If usually have to start with a classical guitar part, and change the custom tunings.  

There are some built-in tunings (Standard, Half-Step Down, Full-Step Down, Drop D, Open D, Open C, Open G, D Modal and Baritone).  I would like to create a custom instrument profile that includes a pseudo-instrument (Classical Guitar) and a custom tuning.  I could then use this profile without manually re-entering every time.

Furthermore, whenever I change Part information (Instrument Octave, Score Octave, et.al.) the manual tunings are erased.  What a pain.

I would assume custom instruments/tunings would be saved and referenced from my profile.
