    This should be resolved ASAP. It's particularly useful for those of us who are arranging songs for women's barbershop.

    Instruments and voices that transpose an octave are already supported in Noteflight. A piccolo, for example, sounds an octave higher than written, and a bass clarinet sounds an octave lower than written. When you score music, you must follow the notational conventions of the individual instruments or voices you're working with. If you hate leger lines, don't write for the flute. If you hate 8va, don't write for the violin or piano. If you use a clef that isn't idiomatic to the instrument you will earn (and deserve) the scorn of the performer.
